If you want to update your PC with the latest drivers or firmware it is best to make a detailed inventory of all existing hardware. HWiNFO32 is the perfect application for this job and it requires no installation.
HWiNFO32 analyzes all major hardware components in a few moments. You get the results of this analysis clearly presented into several sections: Central Processor, Motherboard, Memory, Bus, Monitor, Drives, Audio, and Network Ports.
Each section contains a number of subsections with often very detailed technical information about the selected component. In a separate window you will find a summary of the hardware.
HWiNFO32 allows you to report in various ways, including txt, csv, xml and html. You can exclude parts that you don’t want to be included in the report.
The program also provides a number of sensors. This allows you to retrieve real time information on the temperature of your CPU, GPU and/or hard drives via Smart.
HWiNFO32 has a number of relatively simple benchmarks on board. With a click on the button Compare you can benchmark the performance of different components (CPU, RAM and disk) to other models.
For a proper analysis it is important that the tool is up-to-date and that it correctly identifies the latest technologies and components. HWiNFO32 is updated about once a month.
